11th ANNUAL RACE FEST WILL BE HELD ON SATURDAY, JUNE 4, 2005 AT CHICAGOLAND SPEEDWAY

Join us in the infield of Chicagoland Speedway in Garage #1 to check out the exclusive racing collectables, autographed items, live auction, silent auction, 50/50 drawings, raffle items, autograph sessions, Pace Car rides and much more!

Beginning at 1:00 pm, Richard Petty Driving Experience will provide three lap Ride-Alongs in NASCAR-style stock cars at speeds of 165+ mph around Chicagoland Speedway with a portion of each ride benefiting Race Fest. Beginning at 5:00 pm, Chicagoland Speedway will provide Pace Car rides for a $10.00 donation to Race Fest! (Both options are weather and time permitting - see schedule below.)

All proceeds from Race Fest are donated to the Mike Guglielmucci Sr. Racer's Benevolent Fund with the purpose of providing financial assistance to individuals and families involved in auto racing-related accidents. Scholarships will also be presented to students who have made significant progress towards a career in auto racing or in the automotive technology.

SCHEDULE:
*Richard Petty Driving Experience Ride A-Longs: 1:00 - 5:00 pm
*Chicagoland Speedway Pace Car Rides: 5:00 - 6:30 pm
Cash Bar: 4:00 - 6:00 pm
DJ: 4:00 - 8:00 pm
Open Bar: 6:00 - 11:00 pm
Dinner: 6:00 - 8:00 pm
Auction: 8 pm
*Weather and time permitting
NOTE: Doors open at 3 pm / Adults over 21 only after 4:00 pm please!

TICKETS: $25.00 includes buffet-style dinner and open Budweiser and pop taps from 6:00 pm until 11:00 pm. Tickets are on sale to the general public now and are limited to the first 1,000 fans.

The Mike Guglielmucci Sr. Racer's Benevolent Fund: It was created nine years ago to honor the memory of Mike Guglielmucci Sr. and to benefit racers that were injured in auto racing-related accidents. The fund has grown over the years to include scholarships to 12 students enrolled in the Automotive Program at Joliet Junior College and monetary donations to local high schools to improve their automotive programs and shops.
