ROUTE 66 RACEWAY'S |LANE OF HOPE| PROMOTES BREAST CANCER AWARENESS

Share:
The left lane of the drag strip at Route 66 Raceway has been dubbed the "Lane of Hope" during the Ameriquest Mortgage NHRA Nationals this weekend. The designation is part of the "Fuel for the Fight 2005 Inaugural Tour," presented by Lucas Oil Racing and Armored Coating, which emphasizes the importance of early detection and treatment while raising funds to aid breast cancer research.

The unprecedented collaboration for this tour reaches across pit, team, class, and gender lines with Top Fuel driver Morgan Lucas, Top Alcohol Dragster pilot Aaron Olivarez, and beloved Sportsman racer Charlotte Lucas, all part of the "Fuel for the Fight" team. The team unveiled three pink-ribbon-adorned "Fuel for the Fight" dragsters during Friday qualifying in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October.

Fans and corporations have an open invitation to make "Lane of Hope" donations and pledges to support their favorite teams for each round-win in the left lane on race day. In addition, donors may honor their favorite drivers by doubling up their pledge in the event that the win results from a hole-shot.
