For the third consecutive year, Chicagoland Speedway will be the starting point for the fifth annual Illinois Motorcycle Freedom Run on Saturday, June 16. Line up begins at 7 a.m., with the run departing from the track at 10 a.m.

More than 18,000 motorcyclists are expected to ride to the Middle East Conflicts Memorial Wall in Marseilles, Ill. this year to honor our country's fallen heroes. Participants are scheduled to arrive at the Memorial Wall between 12 and 1 p.m., where a memorial service will be held.

Paige DeChausse, with the band Chicago Blues Angels based out of Joliet, Illinois will sing the National Anthem to kick off the 50-mile ride to Marseilles.

A $10 donation is requested by all participants. Proceeds from the event will help pay for the cost of adding new names of fallen soldiers to the Memorial Wall and assist Veterans and their families. Tributes, refreshments, food, live music and more will follow the ceremony. For more information on the event, visit www.ilfreedomrun.org .
