Hey race fans!

On Saturday, September 29, Route 66 Raceway's record-setting quarter-mile dragstrip will host Top Sportsman Racing, a 1/4-mile Gambler's Race and an open Test and Tune event. This is the final Top Sportsman points race of the year. Gates open at 9 a.m. with Top Sportsman Qualifying at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Admission to each event is $15; children 12 and under are free. Participants can purchase run cards for $25 per Test & Tune. This Saturday Test and Tune will close at 6 p.m.

Test & Tunes are open time trials and testing opportunities for individuals looking to fine tune their drag racing skills, and are open to any class of vehicle, as long as it passes NHRA technical inspection set forth in the 2007 NHRA Rulebook. This is a day for the die hard drag racer to come out and play at Route 66 Raceway. During these events, there are no eliminations, no purses and no prizes or awards.
