Words cannot describe the heart pounding sight as a pair of jet cars erupt with fire.  The explosive sound echoes throughout Route 66 Raceway’s stadium of drag racing as the howling jet engines propel the jet dragsters and jet funny cars to speeds nearing the 300 miler per hour barrier.

Tickets are only $20 while kids 12 & younger are FREE when accompanied by a paying adult.  Every ticket is a pit pass, allowing you to get up close with the drivers and machines that bring the Burndown at Sundown! to life.  Free parking, a full day’s worth of drag racing and two Burndown at Sundown! show times make the Saturday, June 9 an incredible value!

Nostalgia Pro Stock Tribute to Bill “Grumpy” Jenkins
Bill “Grumpy” Jenkins was a living legend, admired by his fans, feared by competitors and respected by all.  We will pay tribute to the “Grump” in a special Nostalgia Pro Stock match race and a solemn idle pass down the track by a tribute Grumpy Jenkins 1968 Camaro.

We listened to our fans and are now delivering TWO Burndown at Sundown! show times at 5:00 & 9:00 PM with each session including jet cars!  Looking out for our race fans, we’ve taken the program to the next level and maintained ticket prices.

Forget everything you remember about your favorite childhood toy – this wagon is fueled by methanol and powered by a supercharged Big Block Chevy.  The name of the games is wheels-up and the Wheelie Wagon will carry the front wheels the WHOLE quarter-mile!
