Join Us for the NHRA Supercharged Fan Experience!
The 2012 NHRA Top Fuel Dragster world champion, Antron Brown, will join teammate and winner of 15 NHRA professional titles and the 2012 NHRA Funny Car championship, Jack Beckman, for the NHRA Supercharged Fan Experience on Friday, June 28 at Route 66 Raceway.
Located in the north side of hospitality village from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm, the Supercharged Fan Experience gives fans access to Brown and Beckman for a question-and-answer session and a dinner buffet including smoked brisket and pulled chicken, kettle chips, coleslaw, watermelon and two drink tickets for water and soda. A cash bar will be available. Admission to the Supercharged Fan Experience is $66, which does not include gate admission.
After winning the O’Reilly Auto Parts Route 66 NHRA Nationals in 2012, Brown went on to capture his first NHRA Top Fuel Dragster world championship. In doing so, Brown became the first African-American to win a major U.S. auto racing season championship. Brown is currently in second place in the Top Fuel points trailing teammate and Illinois native, Tony Schumacher.
Beckman won his championship in thrilling fashion on the final day of the 2012 season, defeating his teammate Ron Capps. “Fast Jack” was able to adapt to a new crew chief during the season, winning an event just two weeks after Todd Smith took over.
Tickets for the O’Reilly Auto Parts Route 66 Raceway NHRA Nationals start as low as $41 with a full-weekend of heart-pounding racing available for just $135. Every ticket is a pit pass, giving you a chance to meet drivers, see the cars up close and view interactive displays in “Nitro Alley.” With Two Nights of Nitro leading into Championship Sunday, there will be no shortage of action in the first true Stadium of Drag Racing.
