Event Details

One month after the swing event on the points tour, the NMRA and NMCA roll into Route 66 Raceway over the weekend of July 30 - August 2, 2015. The 10th Annual Nitto Tire NMRA/NMCA Super Bowl of Street legal Drag Racing is one of the most exciting events of the year. By combining all of the classes across both racing sanctions, NMRA and NMCA, the stage is set for ground-breaking, record-setting runs to take place in all classes. Fans watch the best-of-the-best compete not only for year-end points but for bragging rights. At this event, and this event only, it's NMRA vs. NMCA… The all-Ford series vs. the all-American series. Screaming fast Pro Mods, wheels up Renegades, the original Street Outlaws and more hit the super fast surface of Route 66 Raceway to see who's the fastest in the country. It's the biggest battle of the year with 250+ mph heads up drag racing, 2,000 hp Mustangs, giant all-American car show, massive vendor midway and more! Come to watch or race in the street legal True Street class on Saturday.

Over the last several years, the Route 66 surface has been home to many record-setting passes - from John Kolivas' 7.321 in SSO a few years ago while running on a tiny 275/60/15 drag radial tire to last year's efforts from Lyon, Leslie, Jr. and more. It's called the Super Bowl of Street legal Drag Racing for a reason, and the racing action reflects that title. Over 30 race classes filled with all kinds of awesome Detroit iron, walkin' and talkin' down the track - this event is an absolute must! Last year, in the Super Bowl portion of the event, the NMRA came out on top over the NMCA for the fifth time in seven years - will the NMCA's class winners be able to take the title this year? You'll only know if you show up, so make your plans now!
