Zizzo, Creasy, Jr. & Schriefer Return for the 2nd Annual Supercharged Autograph Session at the Chicago Auto Show

Route 66 Raceway will again steal a page from the NHRA playbook, bringing the "every ticket is a pit pass" philosophy to the Chicago Auto Show, on Saturday, February 11.  During the O'Reilly Auto Parts Route 66 NHRA Nationals presented by Super Start Batteries, June 28 – July 1, fans get to experience unrivaled driver access and see the race cars up-close and in-person.  The same can now be done during the nation's largest and longest running new car show at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois.

Seeking to deliver the interactive and personal touch of NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing, the Second Annual Supercharged Autograph Session will include Top Fuel Dragster driver TJ Zizzo and Nitro Funny Car drivers Dale Creasy, Jr. and Justin Schriefer in the Route 66 Raceway display from 3:00-4:00 PM on Saturday, February 11.

TJ Zizzo, driver of the PEAK/Herculiner Top Fuel Dragster will begin his 2012 NHRA campaign at the Tire Kingdom NHRA Gatornationals, Zizzo stunned the racing world and sent a clear message to his competitors after eliminating Spencer Massey in round one of the 14th O’Reilly Auto Parts Route 66 NHRA Nationals.  Massey was riding high on a 40+ consecutive streak of near perfect runs.  Never one to back down from a challenge, Zizzo overcame the number one qualifier and electrified his hometown crowd.

A two-time IHRA World Champion, Dale Creasy, Jr. stirred up some excitement of his own, eliminating eventual NHRA Full Throttle Funny Car Champion, Matt Hagan in round one of competition in the 14th Annual O’Reilly Auto Parts Route 66 NHRA Nationals.  Creasy, Jr. returns for his second Supercharged Autograph Session and is a local favorite to the Chicagoland area.

Justin Schriefer, driver of Creasy Family Racing Nitro Funny Car that displayed for the duration of the Chicago Auto Show last year will join Zizzo and Creasy, Jr. for the Saturday, February 11, appearances.  A graduate of the Top Sportsman ranks, Schriefer is the most local to Route 66 Raceway, from nearby Grant Park, Illinois.

On display in the Route 66 Raceway and Chicagoland Speedway display for the duration of the Chicago Auto Show will be the #11 FedEx Toyota Camry NASCAR Sprint Cup Car of Denny Hamlin and the Traxxas TORC Series off-road truck of Rob MacCachren.
