JOLIET, Ill. (March 19, 2020) — Route 66 Raceway has cancelled the following Rockett Brand Racing ET Bracket Series, and Race Your Ride Presented by O’Reilly Auto Parts events through Sunday, April 26 in accordance with safety protocols recommended by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

The decision to cancel race events through April 26 is in the best interest of the safety and well-being of Route 66 Raceway fans, competitors, and officials.
Route 66 Raceway will continue to monitor this situation to assess future race dates.
Route 66 Raceway encourages everyone to keep informed of developments through official CDC (www.cdc.gov) and WHO (www.who.int) updates and to use best practice precautions as recommended by the CDC, such as social distancing, frequent handwashing, use of hand sanitizer and covering coughs and sneezes appropriately.

About Chicagoland Speedway & Route 66 Raceway
Chicagoland Speedway and Route 66 Raceway – Illinois’ largest sporting facility – is located in Joliet, Ill., approximately 30 miles south of downtown Chicago on Old Historic Route 66.
